About the role
As a Supervisory Power System Dispatcher, you will: Implement written operating plans, standards, and procedures to be followed in connection with the operation of the power system. Assure the effective and efficient control and operation of the system for the generation and delivery of capacity and energy to customers in coordination with interconnected utilities. Collaborate with different planning units to ensure dispatchers accurately post available transfer capability on the applicable OASIS. Collaborate with the Bureau of Reclamation and/or Corps of Engineers to plan and control daily power system operations, meeting objectives for power, water releases, and delivery based on load and water schedules. Provide advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
