About the role

Maintains training products in support of Military Preventive Medicine, with special focus on Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, and Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Reporting System (DOEHRS). Writes lesson plans and other elements of Program of Instructions (POIs), information papers and other staff actions, and technical documents. Identifies elements of training required for technical proficiency according to performance standards, military occupational specialty, area of concentration, functional position, grade level, and conditions under which performance occurs. Teaches the full spectrum industrial hygiene topics related to the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, prevention, and control of those environmental factors or stresses that may arise among workers or among citizens of the community.
