About the role
Plan and evaluate administrative missions and operations, including procurement actions. Maintain shared office calendar and supervisor’s schedule. Serve as training coordinator for Safety and Occupational Health Office, with responsibility for coordinating and tracking the district training requirement. Coordinate and arrange various staff, safety, and/or management level meetings and training events. Serve as point of contact on administrative requirements for training transactions; assists supervisor with identifying training needs; and answers questions to resolve problems related to course content or employee eligibility. Perform cost analyses to determine practicality of sending employees away to training or bringing a vendor onsite. Ensure award/incentive criteria are met and proper forms, awards funds and related documentation are properly completed and processed.
