This Civil Engineer is available in the Division of Dam Safety Inspections, Risk Informed Decision Making Branch in the Office of Energy Projects As a Civil Engineer, some of your typical work assignments may include: Serving as a team leader, engineering consultant, advisor, trainer, mentor, and authoritative source of information with specific recognized expert knowledge and experience in dam safety engineering and risk analysis and assessment procedures using related tools, knowledge, methodologies, and policies. Continuously evaluating the RIDM program and recommending changes that may need to be made in RIDM processes, products, and decisions to reflect the latest state-of-the-art practices, guidelines, and policies, providing national RIDM policy guidance and interpretation to staff, licensees, consultants, other federal agencies, and non-Federal agencies.
