About the role
You will prepare material request forms as necessary, indicates status including delivery dates and location of material, occasionally contact suppliers to locate needed material and secure prices. You will identify effective application of trade resources, efficient utilization of manpower, material, equipment and special tools needed to accomplish specified work tasks. You will maintain files of manufactures’ catalogs, parts lists, material specifications and similar documents. You will procure additional items needed due to unforeseen problems and procures special material needed to complete the job. You will trigger material delivery and will be required to understand material system applications in order to pre-stage material required for work packages.
