SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & COMPENSATION)

You will serve as the Supervisory HR Specialist for Recruitment and Placement, providing administrative and technical supervision to the assigned staff. You will assist in developing short- and long-range staffing plans to meet forecasted mission requirements, human capital losses, and changes in critical competencies. You will provide guidance on merit system principles, prohibited personnel practices, the development and use of valid selection criteria, and other approaches that may help in staffing the organization. You will identify subordinate employees’ developmental and training needs, provides or arrange for needed development and training. You will advise management on the development of full compensation packages such as recruitment, relocation and retention incentives, and superior qualification appointments.
