About the role
The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) journeyman mechanic that troubleshoots, tests, repairs, modifies, overhauls, services, and dispatches powered ground support equipment and to train reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein. DUTY 1: Performs preventive maintenance on ground power support systems. DUTY 2: Performs major maintenance on ground support equipment such as power sources, major components, support components, and associated components. DUTY 3: Performs periodic routine and special inspections of all scheduled equipment. DUTY 4: Maintains records and documents actions. DUTY 5: Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
