RECREATION ASSISTANT (INFORMATION TICKET AND TRAVEL) - FORT DIX

Plans and conducts day-to-day operations of the Information, Ticket, & Travel (ITT) program which serves a large volume of local visitors/transient customers who visit the Lakehurst area. As a customer representative in the ITT office, provides all facets of traveling counseling to customers. Provides detailed information regarding schedules, transportation options, various types of accommodations and attractions. Arranges for all aspects of travel including air travel, cruises, rental cars, hotel accommodations, admissions and recreation activities for customers. Develops complete itineraries based on requests from customers. Researches information using computer-based, interactive software. Reviews itineraries and other arrangements with customer prior to finalizing arrangements. Arranges for charges using the government IMPACT when customers are unable to utilize personal credit cards for transactions.
