About the role
Performs work that involves planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, operation, maintenance. Performs work that involves management of DoD communication/networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and/or video formats. Provides technical guidance and oversight to government and contracted teams with responsibilities of fault isolation, configuration control, mission assurance, performance, and security. Assesses new communications systems requirements and capabilities, performance deficiencies, interoperability requirements. Assesses new communications systems requirements identifies technology enhancements applicable to information transfer services being provided by the Enterprise Infrastructure.
