About the role

If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for the management and control of the district's short and long-range budget planning and execution. Typical work assignments will include: Preparing annual administrative budgets and operating plans. Analyzing expenditure data to identify variables affecting costs. Researching legal, regulatory, program, and budgetary information, guidelines, and policies. Developing financial policies to facilitate achievement of program goals and objectives. Providing technical advice and assistance in the identification of future resource requirements, and in the planning and development of future budget requirements. Planning work to be accomplished and setting priorities. Assigning work to employees based on consideration of the capabilities of the subordinates and the difficulty of the work.
