Principal Technical Advisor for Enterprise Modernization and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The primary purpose of this position is to establish a logical structure to classify and organize descriptive representations within DOL and aligns the enterprise structural framework with DOL's mission, goals, structure and processes. Major duties include but are not limited to: Develop and document the enterprise architecture (EA) infrastructure, including business units and key processes. Oversee creation and maintenance of technical infrastructure roadmaps, reference architectures, and standardized communication processes. Develop and maintain EA standards, templates, processes, and metrics aligned with OCIO requirements. Identify gaps between current and target architectures and develops transition plans to reach the target state. Evaluate and improve EA systems to enhance business processes and leverage emerging technologies.
