About the role
As a RECORDS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, you will: Provide analytical and other support to ensure the proper implementation and compliance of RIM program requirements. Identify, develop, and implement necessary policies and procedures for RIM programs. Review policy guidelines, standard operating procedures, trends and issues involved with these programs to identify systemic trends indicating the need to update policies or procedures. Provide support for implementation of federal and Treasury-wide guidance and requirements in Records and Information Management, including gathering information and data, conducting analyses, establishing and implementing controls, conducting training, and implementing strategies to ensure compliance and accountability. Conduct briefings and prepare comprehensive reports to keep managers and senior level management advised of project plans and progress and to communicate program status, issues, and recommendations.
