About the role

As a Supervisory Licensing Examining Analyst, you will: Develop and recommend to the Assistant Director (Licensing) (Assistant Director) and Associate Director for Program, Policy and Implementation (Associate Director) substantive policy and procedural standards concerning application of OFAC sanctions regulations to transactions involving blocked assets and humanitarian issues, serves as a regulatory liaison with the Policy Planning Division, and addresses OFAC policy issues as they pertain to the Licensing Division. Report directly to the Associate Director on policy matters pertaining to blocked assets,and provides policy guidance to personnel throughout OFAC with respect to its treatment of blocked assets. Oversee the final approval or disapproval of complex or sensitive license applications submitted under the regulations in areas of responsibility. Provide briefing on license applications involving novel or complex policy questions, which may include preparing briefing materials
