Delivers visitor talks incorporating audio-visual aids such as maps, slides, and demonstrations to enhance understanding and encourage preservation of park resources. Responds to a wide variety of visitor questions requiring detailed explanation of site features, historical background, scientific development, and related interpretive themes. Leads and guides large visitor groups along fixed routes or within facilities, maintaining group safety, schedule adherence, crowd control, and interpretive continuity. Provides visitor services including directions, safety information, first aid assistance, and general information on park facilities, regulations, and surrounding recreational opportunities.
