Supervisory Agricultural Marketing Specialist (Agreements & Orders)

The duties may include, but are not limited to: Carry out the full range of administrative supervision of these Branch employees. Oversee marketing specialists on a broad spectrum of topics related to hemp production requirements and develops, reviews, and implements new and/or revised policies specific to the hemp program. Manage complex analysis of existing and proposed legislation impacting hemp production and interpret requirements into policy and procedure documents. Direct and oversee multiple, complex policy projects specific to hemp production and identify policy and resource challenges. Oversee the application process for hemp production licensing including the licensing, record keeping, sampling, testing, and production requirements of compliance for hemp. Oversee hemp production rulemaking activities to include the comment summary and original writing of regulatory documents and supporting materials.
