Supervisory Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Supervise and direct the activities of employees who perform duties and tasks concerned with CT scans of the had and/or body. Advise senior leadership on departmental issues and their impact. Assist radiologist in CT-guided biopsies, ensuring that sterile supplies, contrast material, catheters, needles and other required equipment and supplies are present and prepared for exams. Confer with radiologist to establish requirements of non-standard examinations and determine technical factors, positioning, number and thickness cut of scans, etc., to satisfy the exam requirements. Receive patients and prepares them for imaging procedures by explaining the process and answering questions. Provide advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
