About the role
As a Strategy Development and Program Management Officer at the GS-0301-15 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serves as the recognized authority and primary advisor to the JECC Commander on policy, programs, and resources issues. Develops/directs the development of policies and programs to implement the JECC's missions and JECC concepts by interaction with OSW, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), Services, and the private sector for operations, activities, and investments. Plans, organizes, and manages the activities of the Directorate, and develops goals and objectives that integrate organizational and Command objectives to achieve DOW-aligned strategic outcomes. Directs, coordinates, manages and/or oversees work of the Directorate. Advises staff regarding policies, procedures, and directives of higher level management or headquarters. Focal point for JECC special projects and initiatives. Represents the JECC with other external functional area organizations.
