ACCOUNTANT

You will serve as an ACCOUNTANT in the FM SYSTEMS DIVISION (N84) of the NAVY RESERVE FORCE (NAVRESFOR) located in NORFOLK, VA. You will apply knowledge of accounting principles, methods, techniques, and financial management/automated accounting systems to perform a variety of fiscal, accounting, audit and financial management assignments. You will review or evaluate new information such as policy statements, regulatory directives, and legislation to identify their effect on execution of financial accounting systems and the need to establish new systems or modify existing ones You will participate in the developing, debugging or improving of automated financial data and reporting. You will plan, develop, and coordinate financial management system improvements.
