About the role
The incumbent will report to the applicable Senior Manager and will execute the Agency¿s aviation safety mission, while communicating and building change coalitions; seeking out opportunities to involve their teams in supporting change across the organization and employing best practices for sponsoring change and managing resistance. The position manages the work of a large, multi-level organization through subordinate employees. Integrates work of multiple organizations to meet strategic goals of the organization and the FAA, participates in strategic planning for the FAA, and makes commitments (program, budget, etc.) for a major organization. Directs the work of subordinate employees and/or managers for multiple organizational units/projects/programs and across multiple functions and/or disciplines within a major subdivision.
