As a AIRCRAFT PROPELLER MECHANIC (TITLE 32), WG-8810-10, you will test and troubleshoot aircraft rotor and/or propeller systems using special tools and test equipment; diagnose any malfunctions of rotor/propeller systems and make necessary repairs; repair and refinish blades/propellers using a variety of metal working tools and precision measuring instruments; perform troubleshooting of the powertrain systems using special tools and test equipment; diagnose any system malfunctions and make necessary repairs; subject rotor, propeller, and powertrain parts to a variety of nondestructive testing to identify imperfections not otherwise detected; operate magnetic, dye, or electronic equipment to identify or detect stress, cracks, or potential failures; refer findings to inspector for determination of serviceability; align and balance assembled propellers/rotor blades by making appropriate linkage adjustments and by making both chordwise and spanwise weight adjustments to bring blades into t
