As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Employee Benefits) at the GS-0201-15 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serve as the Associate Director of the Benefits and Work-Life Programs Division within the Defense Civilian Personnel Advisory Service (DCPAS). The role is responsible for the strategic direction, oversight, and administration of all benefits and work-life programs for the entire Department of War (DoW) civilian workforce. Leads the development, implementation, and interpretation of all DoW-wide benefits and work-life policies, affecting nearly one million civilian employees. Oversee DoW's retirement and insurance programs, as well as associated training and credentialing for HR staff across the Department. Acts as a primary representative for DoW on benefits policy with high-level officials from OPM, Congress, other federal agencies, and private industry.
