Internal Revenue Agent (Sr Program Analyst)

The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. Performs analysis and provides oversite and guidance in phases of TE/GE's Issue submission, issue identification, development, and compliance strategy processes. Performs analysis and provides guidance on issues relative to workplan development, monitoring, and compliance strategy assessment. Assures that the processes/activities conform to internal IRS policies, as well as to federal regulations and laws. Utilizes a mastery level of a professional knowledge of advanced accounting and auditing principles to perform projects, studies and analyses on such topics as issue submission and scoping; issue proposal framework and approach; compliance strategy proposal, development, approval, monitoring and assessment;
