About the role
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform all aspects of the carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC trades at journeymen level. Major Duties below but not limited to: Repairs and maintains historic buildings, government housing, support structures and buildings within accepted safety, health and sanitary conditions. Constructs, alters, modifies and/or repairs a wide range of carpentry features in buildings, quarters and other facilities. Builds small structures and replaces deteriorated sections of existing structures. Plans, computes, and lays out projects and identifies material needs. Installs, modifies, and repairs new and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems and equipment such as sewage, water, oil, and gas distribution systems. Perform HVAC installation and maintenance. Perform plumbing on potable water and wastewater systems and related equipment such floats, fittings, sinks, toilets, and fixtures.
