What You’ll Be Doing
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supervise the HSH Guest Placement Team whose main duties are organizing placements from SIP hotels and into temporary shelter sites.
• Monitor and Manage the HSH Temporary Shelter centralized referral system in order to ensure effective placement of clients into grant-funded temporary shelter programs consistent with the Department’s targets and goals.
• Assist with tracking placements/ transfers and validate data in the ONE System and RTZ.
· Follow-up with temporary shelter sites to confirm the number of rooms available at designated sites.
• Coordinate with homeless outreach teams and other referral entities to assign placements based on the Department’s established referral priorities.
• Follow up on SIP exit appeals, interview guest(s) and staff involved and approve of the final decision to exit or transfer.
