IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK)

Manages, coordinates, supports, and ensures 24/7 worldwide secure communications for the Commander (CDR), Vice Commander (VCDR), Deputy Commander (DCDR), and Chief of Staff (CoS) USSOCOM with POTUS, SECDEF, CJCS, COCOMs, Service Components and TSOCs regardless of leadership's location. Identifies, designs, evaluates, tests, procures and implements state-of-the-art communications solutions to meet current and emerging critical Command and Control (C2) requirements. Serves as the subject matter expert in the employment, installation, operation, and maintenance of all secure and non-secure satellite, radio, voice, data, switching, multiplexing, video teleconference, and Voice Over Secure Internet Protocol (VOSIP) call manager transmission systems.
