About the role
The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity. The duties may include, but are not limited to: Plans and conducts economic analyses for APHIS rules, as required by statutes. Analyzes expected economic impacts for small entities of proposed, interim, and final rules. Analyzes the benefits and costs of Agency program and policy options that are not directly related to rulemaking. Contributes to socioeconomic analyses for environmental assessments and environmental impact statements. Prepares and delivers oral and written presentations on analyses conducted and their implications.
