About the role
Applies position classification standards to determine title, series, grade, and related position data for federal positions. Conducts desk audits and fact-finding interviews with incumbents, supervisors, and other officials. Prepares position descriptions, evaluation statements, project reports, advisories, and classification recommendations. Reviews position management and classification policies, guidance, and business practices and recommends improvements. Supports reimbursable HR projects by tracking milestones, deliverables, costs, and project requirements. Participates on cross-functional HR teams involving classification, workforce planning, organization design, and related services. Develops and delivers classification and position management training, workshops, presentations, and focus group materials.
