Staff Software Engineer, Device Software

ABOUT THE ROLE Hinge Health is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Device Software team inside Hardware R&D. This role is centered on the software systems behind a connected medical device experience, including device-control flows, mobile and backend integrations, device telemetry, and the clinical and operational workflows needed to support the product end to end. This is a staff-level individual contributor role with strong backend ownership for device-adjacent software, with particular emphasis on Python and Next.js systems. The role is expected to operate across a broad technical surface while partnering closely with Product, Clinical, Regulatory, Hardware Engineering, Data, and Quality stakeholders. This role will be a key technical leader for Device Software, helping Hinge Health deliver reliable, scalable software across connected device experiences and the backend systems that support them.
