About the role
As a Financial Specialist you will: Serve as a subject matter expert in the application of payroll directives, policies, and procedures, Federal Travel Regulations, Fair Labor Standard Act, and Title 5 Code of Federal Regulations in providing guidance on matters pertaining to payroll and travel. Manage OST's invoicing and de-obligation process within assignments to ensure that all obligations, costs, and payments are made according to contract terms and conditions. Perform analytical evaluations to identify actual or potential problem areas and trends of un-costed balances for all OST contracts which are approximately over $50 million. Serve as a subject matter expert for the Strategic Partnership Program (SPP), in preparing proposal packages for interagency agreements between OST and other Federal agencies.
