SUPV IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN)

Serves as the Deputy Chief Information Officer, ensuring statutory IT and cyber compliance, guidance, and oversight with all applicable federal and DoD Standards. Develops and establishes performance expectations for direct staff and supervises subordinated staff with communication through the formal employee performance management system, providing a follow-up related to conduct and mission accomplishment. Serves a senior IT program advisor and authoritative source of information for decision-making managers and planners across the DoD for IT key programs, projects and initiatives at the agency. As a key advisor, incumbent speaks with authority and advocates the agency's positions where significant decisions concerning possible expansion of technologies in regard to the agency's products and services are concerned.
