About the role
Works under AAM, Medical Specialties Division Director for broad administrative direction and the Psychology Branch Manager for supervision. A recognized expert within AAM as a licensed Clinical Psychologist with specialized knowledge in Personality Assessments and clinical psychological/neuropsychological testing in general, and specifically to evaluate ATCS and airmen. Identifies and resolves highly complex problems or issues which have an impact on the accomplishments of the program objectives. Applies knowledge of FAA's policies and objectives to identify, define and organize work projects for various medical programs. Evaluates the following: ATCS applicant psychological screening and reports from Tier 2 clinical psychological evaluations; ATCS neuropsychological evaluations for medical clearance and airmen neuropsychological evaluations for medical certification.
