About the role
You will serve as an Information Technology Specialist (System Analysis/System Administration) in the Command Information Office (CIO) for the Commander, Naval Safety Command (COMNAVSAFECOM). You will identify hardware, software applications, and connectivity requirements for Navy Marine Corps Intranet NMCI services and Command legacy work stations. You will develop NMCI services order using Navy supplied software tools and verifies that NMCI invoices reflect those services accurately. You will ensure compliance with Department of War and Department of Navy AIS (automated information system) procedures. You will be responsible for technical and administrative support to ensure production capability and interactive system performance of digital phone system, voice processing system, telephone support software, telephone wiring and key phone sets. You will develop and coordinate procurement strategies.
