The incumbent serves a patient population with highly complex health and mental health problems. The Social Worker is assigned to both clinical and administrative responsibility for managing cases and coordinating care within the Outpatient Clinic. The incumbent is accountable for clinical program effectiveness and modification of service patterns to address veteran needs. Duties of MHTC include but are not limited to the following: Serves as the Mental Health Treatment Coordinator (MHTC) for assigned Veterans and conducts the duties of this role.
