About the role
The Vice Director serves as the principal advisor to the Director for Operations (J3) and the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff on all Global Force Management and Joint Force Coordinator matters. Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage the Joint Force Coordinator Process: Develops and maintains the doctrine, policy, technology, and architecture governing and enabling Global Force Management and the Joint Force Coordinator processes. Provide Joint Force Sourcing Solutions: Responsible for researching, coordinating and orchestrating the individual and often competing efforts of Supporting Combatant Commands and Service force providers to produce Joint Force sourcing solutions from the global pool of available Do W forces to meet validated operational and war fighting requirements of the Supported Geographic Combatant Commands.
