LEAD POLICE OFFICER

Serves as the work leader by planning, organizing, and coordinating the activities of three or more Police Officers. Performs the full spectrum of police officer duties within the assigned jurisdictions. Conducts Investigations/Surveillance. Conducts investigations of crimes and complaints covering a wide range of subjects and allegations that are not within the scope of Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) or the scope of the higher level detectives assigned to the Squadron. Performs as Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC) Controller and Alarm Monitor. Performs emergency response and incident command and control.
