IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS/SYSADMIN)

As an IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS/SYSADMIN), you will: Install, configure, test, and deploy both 3rd party software and native OS changes that would optimize the Windows OS for use in a Virtual Desktop environment. Support all aspects of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), this includes both the software components that provide the service, and the Server Virtualization stack required backend server infrastructure. Consult with applications developers to determine the effect on end user applications resulting from changes to the operating environment, e.g., new software or hardware installations. Lead/conduct studies designed to identify potential improvements in the way information technology is applied to key business functions. Assess new systems design methodologies to improve software quality. Accurately represent customer requirements. Present recommendations for adoption of new methodologies and lead implementation.
