Mechanical Engineer

Develop the designs, plans, cost estimates, and specifications for piping, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, automatic control, utility, and other systems of major size and complexity for use in such facilities Evaluate design objectives, performs highly complex technical calculations, identifies most economical and efficient procedures for project design. Prepare detailed cost estimates for use in obtaining project funding and bid evaluation. Review and evaluate shop drawings, samples, and material certifications submitted by contractor for contract and performance requirements, recommending approval, rejection, or receipt. Review the work of architect-engineer firms to ensure design excellence and that requirements are met.
