Supervisory IT Specialist (SYSADMIN)

As a Supervisory IT Specialist (SYSADMIN), you will: Manage a team of IT specialists by planning work, setting priorities, and overseeing performance to ensure the successful delivery of enterprise services. Serve as a technical expert, offering guidance and recommendations to IT leadership and other departments on a wide variety of technology and business needs. Create, implement, and maintain departmental policies and procedures to improve the services provided by the department. Contribute to the overall IT infrastructure strategy and resolve complex operational problems that require coordination with other teams. Ensure the rigorous application of information security and assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of systems administration services. Act as a representative for the organization and the IT department in meetings with other agencies and industry partners, guiding major IT projects and policies.
