Endocrine and Metabolism Fellow

In addition to those clinical duties, the WOC 3rd-year Endocrine and Metabolism Fellow may conduct and assist with VA research under the supervision of a VA Principal Investigator in the Endocrine and Metabolism Section. Duties include but are not limited to: If the 3rd year fellow is called upon for jeopardy (as detailed above), their duties will be: (1) Complete Endocrinology consults on patients hospitalized at the SFVAMC, under the direction of the attending physician; (2) Hold the on-call pager for Endocrinology calls and consults; (3) Cover the Endocrinology fellow in-basket, responding to all messages, results and calls. Recruit and screen research study participants (if opportunities are available) Perform data entry, data management, and data analysis for research projects (if opportunities are available) Work Schedule: Will be determined by the service.
