ACCOUNTANT (SYSTEMS)

Plans, designs, tests, analyzes, revises, implements, and maintains all or major portions of a complex financial accounting system. Assesses the integration of new computer technology and new means of improving productivity and efficiency of systems. Ensures that systems designs provide for the integrity of financial records and provide data and reporting capacities for preparation and submission of documentation required by the Federal Managers Financial Integrity Act for all assigned systems. Provides guidance and expert technical advice to associates, bases, major commands, central operating locations, centers, and/or other echelons of management and other agencies. Develops, interprets, and revises accounting and finance systems policies and procedures.
