Summary
Join the Department of Navy as a Lead Rigger. You will work at various naval shipyards, including Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Trident Refit Facility Bangor, and Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility.
Duties
As a Lead Rigger, your responsibilities will include:
• Providing technical trade leadership to a small team.
• Ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are ready and safe for use.
• Assigning specific tasks to each team member.
• Instructing team members on safety protocols and any unique work requirements.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, you must meet the following conditions:
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Participation in the direct deposit pay program is mandatory.
• All new hires will need to pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
