HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT)

Serves as a senior human resources specialist researching and providing advisory services related to Recruitment and Placement strategies and operations in accordance with law; and Office of Personnel Management, DoD, DFAS policies and regulations. Conducts job analyses to identify major duties/competencies of a vacancy, develops criteria to evaluate applicant proficiency, develops job announcements, evaluates applicants or eligibility/qualifications, and coordinates the on-boarding process. Consults with management to identify recruitment needs and develop recruitment options and strategies. Advises management on recruitment sources, special programs, pay administration and incentives to attract highly qualified candidates.
