About the role
The incumbent serves as the DOC's DCIO for Policy and Business Management, planning and directing activities to ensure roles and responsibilities are effectively met. Specifically, the incumbent performs, leads, or oversees the following functions: Budget & Financial Management Lead the formulation and execution of OCIO budgets and coordinate IT budget formulation and execution across the Department in conjunction with the CFO/ ASA during the annual President's budget process. Plan and execute the OCIO budget, financial, planning, and performance measurement activities are conducted in accordance with FIT ARA, 0MB, and DOC policy and procedural guidelines. Establish financial and administrative management policies and oversee integrated, automated financial and administrative systems internal to the OCIO. IT Governance, Policy & Investment Oversight Conduct project assessments for major information system investments at key milestones to determine progress toward completion and benefit
