Senior Advisor, Integration (Program/Budget)

The Senior Advisor, Integration (Program/Budget) (P/B) fulfills an expansive role that includes coordinating the efforts of the staff, senior management, and technical budget personnel to produce and justify an integrated budget plan for the Department. The incumbent serves as the organization's lead technical expert in analyzing and resolving the most critical and complex problems in developing the Department's Budget Overview and top-line assessment. Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Advises on the development and refinement of Department of War (DoW)-wide budgetary policies and procedures; Conducts deep-dive studies and analyses of proposed legislation, new regulations, and emerging financial management challenges, providing expert guidance on their potential impact and recommending strategic responses for the Department.
