Review records of the Provider Reimbursement Review Board (PRRB) to assure that pertinent law, regulations, rulings, etc., have been properly cited and applied. Develop jurisdictional legal issues and presents the issues to the PRRB, making recommendations as to whether the Board should accept or reject jurisdiction over such appeals. Develop draft written legal opinions of the Board incorporating case findings and conclusions for Board decision. Perform a wide variety of advisory, technical and administrative services in managing the adjudication of adversarial disputes relating to Medicare payment and reimbursement.
