About the role
You will drive repair and refurbishment of critical mechanical systems by providing expert guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers and technicians. You will perform and oversee advanced mechanical engineering review, analysis, and troubleshooting of complex mechanical systems and components undergoing repair and refurbishment, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance, and optimal performance. You will direct and validate failure investigations and root cause analyses of mechanical malfunctions, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to ensure accurate identification and resolution of issues. You will oversee project execution ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards for mechanical repair and refurbishment projects including contract compliance. You will identify and facilitate professional development opportunities for the team, including technical and team-building skills.
