About the role

Assesses the provisioning of hosting solutions for AIT's stakeholders at FAA's data centers, Co-location facilities, and FAA Cloud Service (FCS) providers. The Hosting Management Branch works closely with the Operations and Maintenance Branch, which executes the provisioning of hosting solutions for AIT's stakeholders at FAA's data centers, Colocation facilities, and FAA Cloud Service (FCS) providers. Supports hosting file share resources for FAA field facilities. Responsible for securing and managing AIT's operating systems, servers, virtual infrastructure, storage and backup solutions, and the F5 environment for load balancing application servers. Provides environmental (space, power, cooling) hosting within the data centers, provisions the infrastructure to support web hosting, and configures the operating system environment for system disaster recovery solutions, both on premises and in FCS.
