About the role
You will direct, coordinate and oversee the work of the branch. You will develop the branch’s resourcing plan and workload projections and monitor their implementation. You will make decisions on work problems presented by subordinate supervisors or by contractors. You will oversee all aspects of PDC work, including the mentoring and training of the PDC staff and leading high level execution status meetings for all PDC products. You will be familiar with Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS), NAVFAC Business Process Management System (BPMS), regulations governing construction and architect-engineer contracts, and development of government estimates. You will provide senior leadership to the planning, design, and construction teams, including expert direction, guidance, and mentorship to the branch members. You will hear and resolve group grievances or serious employee complaints. You will serve as the final mediator and arbitrator on difficult issues.
