About the role
You will manage business and contracting aspects of the most complex, high-dollar value, mission-critical acquisition programs and contracts. You will be responsible for the proper obligation of millions of dollars of appropriated funds each year. You will be responsible for ensuring all statutory and regulatory requirements are satisfied, and that the Government receives best value results through innovative strategies, maximizing performance-based contracting actions. You will use Seaport to mutually establish between the Contract Specialist (CS) and Customer a milestone plan (MP) for all required procurement actions. You will perform variance analysis of milestone plan (MP), maintain all MPs, including revisions on a regular basis, notifying customers of adverse impacts to the MP. You will establish a plan with the Customer for completion of workloads. You will support respective Department customer portfolio reviews, including detailed milestones for each phase of the procurement.
