About the role
If selected for this position, you will provide a variety of human resources management services in two or more of the following functional areas: recruitment and placement, personnel security, human resource development, employee benefits, performance management, and employee compensation. Preparing job announcements, assessments, and referral lists utilizing an automated system. Interpreting and applying human resources rules and regulations (such as delegated examining and merit promotion procedures) to provide guidance on a variety of staffing issues. Conducting a variety of recruitment outreach efforts when advertising vacant positions and utilizing special hiring authorities. Evaluating candidates for minimum qualifications and eligibility, applying assessment criteria, conducting quality review of candidate information, including claims for veteran preference, and refers candidates for consideration.
